I’m posting this for a second time, partly to lamely beef up this emaciated site, but also because it apparently did not trigger all of the spam it was supposed to.
Here’s our 2008 family video, the non-director’s cut. Prepare for nearly two hours of redundant cuteness.
I had to edit the music out of the last sequence because the evil robot Prince sent to monitor YouTube had a hissy fit when he heard “Baby, I’m a Star.” Those who want to watch Maggie’s 5th Birthday as funkily as intended will need to get their hands on a limited edition DVD.
On that note, big props to The Rolling Stones and Velvet Underground, whose music is also used in the video, but merely alerted me that I have tentative permission to use it unless they decide to go all Princey on me. Even bigger props to all the indie artists who make up the bulk of the music I use every year, and don’t spend all their time suing web sites.
