Just watched, finally, Scorsese’s The Aviator. I resisted it for a long time, but it was quite good. However, the brilliant Cate Blanchett was too good at reminding me why I hate Katherine Hepburn. I think I mentioned a while back Ted Kennedy having some trouble with Barack Obama’s name, repeatedly calling him "Osama" in one speech. It’s been speculated that this foreign-sounding name, and its similarity to a name associated with terrorism, could hurt this Democrat golden boy in a national election.
