Michael Jackson needs to Beat It

November 20th, 2002 by PRN

I can’t let this recent episode go by without commenting. Recently, Michael Jackson’ latest album has flopped, he has called Sony’s head Tommy Mottola a racist, “accepted” an award from MTV that they did not give him, had pictures of his melting face distributed around the world, and now he dangles his 3rd white child off of a balcony.
In the meantime, he still goes around receiving invented life-time achievement awards. Apparently he is in Berlin to accept another one of these phony awards that he thinks proves to the world that he is the “king of pop.”

I hope this recent sick incident is enough to make his last fans (mostly to be found in Romania, Hungary, and Korea) to finally distance themselves from this sick, twisted, marginally talented loser. Rumors are that he is addicted to drugs again, has rejected family interventions, and has frustrated and ignored his handlers. He’s trying desperately to revive his career, but the old tricks don’t work anymore. Good.

Now if only Bill Clinton could get his day of reckoning as well. As I’ve written before (not on the BLog), I think Clinton and Jackson are the two greatest megalomaniacs out there. There are many other parallels that I see, the biggest being that neither of them can REMOTELY fathom the fact that they are not the center of the world and worthy to be praised by everyone at all times. Thus far, the Clinton world tour has been a big success—Constant speaking engagements, constant praise, and constant opportunities to act in a manner unfit for a former head of state.

By the way, how is the Jackon incident playing in the United States?
